Welcome to my little life!

        I'm Nikki, and this is where I come to share about my faith, family and the things that are happening in our life, as well as on our farm.

        I am a homeschooling mother of 6! My family and I live on a decent chunk of land in Southeast Michigan, where we've started, I guess what could be called, a hobby farm. We have sheep, cows, chickens, bees, a couple of dogs, a cat, some fish, and a pony. We also attempt a garden, most years. Our homeschooling style is pretty eclectic, combining Charlotte Mason, Waldorf, Montessori, and Unschooling concepts.

       Over the years, I have dabbled in many things. I did a year and a half stint at BSU. Did time as an AF wife. Tried my skates, as a roller girl. Acted as a Brownie troop leader. Spent a little time involved in local theater productions. Sampled different direct sales opportunities. And the list goes on. Currently, I am a distributor for Young Living Essential oils and a licensed massage therapist. I've even published a children's book, "I Should've Stayed in Bed"

Aside from that, I enjoy crafting and arts of all kinds, making music, reading, writing and traveling. Though, I don't travel as much as I'd like.

I hope, through this blog, I can be a blessing to others, touching your lives, and inspiring you. By sharing my day to day, the good, the bad, and the ugly, I hope to be a reminder that we are all human and none of us are perfect.
